backwards In an earlier post, I hinted at the fact that this shoe, currently by Marc Jacobs is the next big thing. Well it officially came out on runways in the NY Fashion Week in 2007 right before Winter. The only thing forward about these shoes is the fact that they are "fashion forward" right now. I wonder what everyone was thinking at that fashion show. I think "Stunned" could sum it up in one word. The shoes measuring in at 4 inches high, although quite pretty, can be nothing but horrific to walk in. Imagine wearing shoes, let me correct that HEELS, that you can never apply weight to the back of the shoe or you will come tumbling down. Perfect for Ballet Dancers maybe not so much the rest of us, you surely will perfect walking on your toes wearing these.

One positive I can think of is, it has to be one heck of  a workout for your calves. Imagine a High Heel Shoe minus the heel, it’s ridiculous, yet, oh so sexy! They seem to be slowly trickling into the mainstream and we are sure to see more and more celebrities wearing them. These are sure to be a HUGE hit fast, in the lime light fashion is everything.

heel

Would you trade being able to stay upright with wearing gorgeous "fashionable" shoes? What can they possible think of next, no heels at all??

My Water Problems

Posted by kilohana under Health, I notice, Kids, My Style, Relationships, funny

As stated previously, I am on a mission to drink and maintain more water intake. I drink a little more than a gallon a day and had a good system down. I would keep my water in a gallon container on the counter, and I drank out my “special” cup. There really is nothing special about it, other than I like it and it is a perfect size with measuring’s on it up to 19oz.

First, let me start off by saying, my special cup is a replacement to my initial “favorite” cup that was found broke because someone dropped something, stepped on it, or maybe fell on it the jury is still out on what actually happened with it.

Anyway, I wake up one and was horrified at what I saw! Someone had knocked my empty gallon on the container off the counter and had inadvertently stepped on it and crushed it Surprise! Surprised doesn’t even do justice to what I was feeling. But, I picked myself up and figured I would go later that day and get me another container. Well, I never got around to going to get another container…to busy with everyone in the house. So I went on with my water drinking habits, using my favorite “special” cup. Because after all it has measurements on it so I can continue making sure I drink enough.

Well this morning, I woke up and started my morning ritual of filling my gallon container and getting my “special” cup, only to find my “special” cup is missing! It is not in the dishwasher, sink, my room, or anyone else’s room for that matter. I have torn up the house looking for my “special” cup. Alas, prior experience has taught me to fear the worse. I feel like I have a house full of double agents working against me!! .

So here I sit, typing on my computer drinking my water out of………a gallon milk jug Crying

The daddy test!

Posted by kilohana under Health, I notice, funny

babystork Bad news for the loose women and men out there…I just saw the news and they have come out with an at home paternity test. What a mess it is about to be sweeping the country. Just think, being able to secretly test your own kids at home. For the price of 200.00 (total) you can find if you are the daddy or who may be the daddy. With just a simple swab you can discover the truth in the privacy of your own home.

I knew they would be coming out with something like this soon. But I didn’t know it would be this quick. Rite Aid is selling the kits in 30 states right now. Man, there are about to be some sad/mad people out there. In this case, the truth may just end up hurting you!!!

Pets Welcome…..sometimes.

Posted by kilohana under I notice, funny

horse-759397 I read the funniest story this morning. It was taken from Kauai, HI. Well if you have ever been to any of the islands of Hawaii, you know how nice and welcoming everyone there is. You get a whole feel of the laid backness that is so popular in Hawaii the minute you get off the plane. Well one guy took this a little too literal. He had a friend who was in the hospital in Kauai. To cheer the friend up, this guy decides to bring his horse to see him. The hospital has an open door policy when it comes to pets, they were trying to mean household pets….cats and dogs! So the guy brings the patient’s horse to see him. He and horse makes it to the third floor via elevator, where he is stopped by personnel and informed of their no horses allowed policy and quickly taken out of the hospital. He was dealt an even worse blow when the patient is brought down to see his horse and the patients states “that’s not my horse”! Sometimes even Good Samaritans need to read the small print……

How funny is that!!! The funniest things are done in everyday life…..
