It used to be that when it was time for your child to celebrate a birthday or holiday, you could either plan it yourself with whatever time you had here and there or you could hire a party planner who doesn’t even know your child. Well, innovation has struck the world of children’s celebrations because

Ever After Charming Event Services for Children really can do it all. They arrange specific times to spend one-on-one with their clients so that they really get an understanding of the child’s personality. From this point, the sky is the limit. They offer everything from decor to favors to invitations and it is all custom made just for your child and available anywhere in the world. It’s a real breath of fresh air if you don’t mind someone getting personal with your kids, but it’s well worth it when you really don’t have the time, energy, or creativity to put together the party of your child’s dreams.

Simplify

mom makeup Whether you work or are a Stay at home mom, we all can use a little more time during the day to put on make up. It gets hard when you have to take care of everyone else in the morning, but it can be done. The key is to Simplify. Simplify and find a routine that incorporates your time for make up application.

I find that the easiest and fastest make up for me to use is Bare Escentuals Warmth, Eyebrow kit, and their blush. Application is very easy to do and it goes on quickly with out all the mess. It’s hard to go wrong with this make up. I bought the Essential Eyebrow kit, which is very easy to master for any beginner. Then I went to, one of my favorite spots, QVC and bought a kit, Glamorista Grand Collection that had everything else I needed, and then some. For my lip gloss I use, this is a shocker, Love My Lips Lip Gloss Lip Juice (strawberry flavor) from Walmart. This is the best lip gloss I have found that I like, and it was so cheap, only like 2.00. Then I end with a little eye shadow (warm earth tone). A little crimp from my eye lash curler and I am done and ready for the day!

I keep all my items right next to the sink in easy reach. That way I can simply grab, use, and go. A good trick is to sit out everything you need the night before, so you can quickly get your make up on in the morning. Make a routine of waking up, brushing teeth, shower, (while waiting for steam to clear out) get dressed, then back in the bathroom for make up application. Try to do all this before the kids or anyone notices you are moving around (so stay in your room until done). You may feel like a ninja creeping around, but it is well worth it. Otherwise, you may have to balance a baby on your lap while putting on make up. But hey, whatever works…works.

Get your make up application down as simple and quickly as possible. The easier it is the more likely you are to keep it up. Looking beautiful shouldn’t take all day!

My Water Problems

Posted by kilohana under Health, I notice, Kids, My Style, Relationships, funny

As stated previously, I am on a mission to drink and maintain more water intake. I drink a little more than a gallon a day and had a good system down. I would keep my water in a gallon container on the counter, and I drank out my “special” cup. There really is nothing special about it, other than I like it and it is a perfect size with measuring’s on it up to 19oz.

First, let me start off by saying, my special cup is a replacement to my initial “favorite” cup that was found broke because someone dropped something, stepped on it, or maybe fell on it the jury is still out on what actually happened with it.

Anyway, I wake up one and was horrified at what I saw! Someone had knocked my empty gallon on the container off the counter and had inadvertently stepped on it and crushed it Surprise! Surprised doesn’t even do justice to what I was feeling. But, I picked myself up and figured I would go later that day and get me another container. Well, I never got around to going to get another container…to busy with everyone in the house. So I went on with my water drinking habits, using my favorite “special” cup. Because after all it has measurements on it so I can continue making sure I drink enough.

Well this morning, I woke up and started my morning ritual of filling my gallon container and getting my “special” cup, only to find my “special” cup is missing! It is not in the dishwasher, sink, my room, or anyone else’s room for that matter. I have torn up the house looking for my “special” cup. Alas, prior experience has taught me to fear the worse. I feel like I have a house full of double agents working against me!! .

So here I sit, typing on my computer drinking my water out of………a gallon milk jug Crying
