Ok, I just found out from a friend a great way to make old carpet look better. So here’s the deal, we have lived in many apartments so I HATE carpet. Carpet always looks old and dirty, not to mention nasty from the kids spilling food. To make the carpet look and better, all you have to do is get a spray bottle with lightly soapy water. Saturate the carpet in certain spots and spot clean it with the soapy water or a cleaner that’s safe on the carpet, I use a tire brush and scrub the carpet in certain spots to get it clean. With the soapy water you just spray the carpet until it’s damp then vacuum the carpet. This releases the carpet and makes it stand up like it was new, so it’s not so compacted down. This makes the carpet look so much better! Works every time for me, let me know if you have an tips or if this has worked for you.
